Elevate Dance Studio
Vision
We desire to raise up generations in the area of dance. Elevate Dance Studio is committed to training in a variety of dance forms. We have been offering classes in our community for nine years in a positive and encouraging environment.
Teachers
Rena Weme:
Is a very talented dance leader with extensive ballet experience. She trained at Parksville Ballet School for 11 years and performed with Dance Streams Company for 3 years. Her vision is to see dance and the arts used to glorify God in the church and in the community.
Judy Davidson:
Judy comes with a lifetime of experience in the dance community. Judy studied at the Royal Ballet School in London England, and danced at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She has been teaching ballet for over 25 years. She has worked with many Dance Schools and with companies in Victoria, Los Angeles, Calgary, Ballet Jorgen in Toronto. Judy was the founding Ballet Mistress for “The Culture House” a Christian Dance School and Company in Kansas City. Her heart is to see personal and artistic development and technical skills through the art and love of dance.
Sarah Garland:
Sarah is a talented choreographer and has been a part of Elevate since the very beginning! It is great to have her as part of the team.

Classes typically begin with a warm-up, followed by creative movement, and then ballet, jazz, modern or hip hop, depending on the choreographic style of the dance being taught.
What to Wear
Students need to wear black jazz pants or capris, a black short-sleeved body suit & tshirt, and pink ballet slippers.
Hip Hop shoes required for all Hip Hop classes.
Hair should be in a pony, off face & neck.
All ballet classes: black body suit, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. No t-shirts.
ExpectationsRegular attendance and prompt arrival to class. Be ready 10 minutes BEFORE class begins. Being late is not optional.
Be prepared. Dance shoes on and hair pulled back in proper dance attire
All students to participate in dance
presentations throughout the year.

$20 non refundable registration fee
$30 costume fee
Fees must be paid in advance
10% discount applies for multiple classes
10% discount for full registration paid in advance.
Postdated cheques dated the 1st or the 15th accepted Sept-June.
Non-refundable after Oct 15th. No classes offered without advance payment.
No classes on Statutory Holidays, Spring Break or during extreme weather conditions
