Esperanza Outreach

Recently, a team from our church had the opportunity to serve at Esperanza Ministries on the west coast of Vancouver Island — a mission that supports many remote First Nations communities along the coast.

The team spent the 3 days offering practical support and encouragement to the staff and volunteers through building projects, painting, cleaning, organizing, stocking woodsheds, and caring for the property grounds. With such a large and active site, there is always meaningful work to be done — and opportunities for every age to serve.

It was a joy to help steward the land and support those faithfully sharing the love of Jesus in remote coastal communities.
